Religious Coercion

Since the establishment of the state, religious coercion has been an issue.  We are battling government sanctioned or enabled religious coercion.  There are many examples of this: segregation of women at municipal events, business and various cultural institutions closing on Shabbat, Rabbinical control over kashrut, orthodox religious activities in the mainstream education system, lack of public transportation on Shabbat, and the list goes on.
